Sikhs residing in Sri Amritsar Sahib are encouraged and requested to stop drinking or serving alcohol.
On one hand we want and demand "holy status" for city of Sri Amritsar Sahib yet on the other hand, we drink and serve alcohol, right in the city of Sri Amritsar Sahib. There is a great usage of alcohol among people of Amritsar.
If we really want the Holy Status of Sri Amritsar Sahib (declared and implemented), it is simply important to make our lives holy first! Let's pledge not to drink or serve alcohol!
